Jeep Wrangler is Tough Enough for American Roads Because it is American Made

The Jeep Wrangler can trace its heritage all the way back to World War II. It's an iconic American SUV, which is why it's no wonder it earned the top spot on the 2017 American-Made Index.

Antigo drivers love the tough, go-anywhere Wrangler for powering through long Wisconsin winters. Deep snow is no challenge for its advanced four-wheel drive and roomy ground clearance. Many city drivers forget, however, that anywhere the roads are dirt, spring is the more challenging season by far for most vehicles. Not for the Jeep Wrangler. Sticky mud pits and deep furrows that would grab hold of other SUVs and not let go are conquered by the Wrangler with playful ease.

Perhaps one reason the Jeep Wrangler is so ideal for harsh conditions of American roads is because it's built here in the U.S., and has been since the beginning. According to the American-Made Index, the Wrangler (and its four-door counterpart, the Wrangler Unlimited) has the highest domestic parts content, and supports more manufacturing employees per vehicle sold than any other model.
