1943 Willys Jeep Kept in Family with Secret Sale

When Vikki Simon found out that the 1943 Willys Jeep she loved as a child was being put up for sale by her uncle, she thought that her memories would be gone forever, but she didn't know that her love, Tom Pearson, would make sure that the only person to get the Jeep vehicle would be Vikki.

Unfortunately, Pearson discovered that the predecessor to today's Jeep vehicle needed quite a bit of work. Though it's V-8 engine was still going strong, its brakes were not functioning, and Pearson and a friend had to drive it across the dessert with no braking option available!

The process was a draining one for Pearson, but in the end, it was all worth it. He states, "This is so important to her and her family. Her kids and grandkids are like my own. She's special, and I wanted to do something special for her - for all that she does. . . . It's been a long haul getting to today and this is the only kind of jewelry I do. She's done so much for so many. Now it's her turn."1

What an amazing story! Have you ever had a unique experience with a fabulous automobile, like all of the new and used Jeep models here at Brickner's of Antigo, conveniently located at 123 E Hwy 64, Antigo, WI? If not, perhaps it's time to do so!
